Your musical focus/instruments you play:
Guitar, Bass, Songwriting, Composing instrumental music.

When did you start pursuing music?
I was 9 when I started playing the guitar. By age of 14, I started playing clubs with bands.

What is your musical education?
Informal. I never got to finish an official music degree.

What are your musical influences/favorite bands?
The list would be huge. I’ve been influenced by tons of rock, hard rock, blues, fusion, funk, progressive, metal, and jazz bands and artists. And I still am. To me music is endless. I learn something new every day. Especially now living in the era of social media and the internet!

What is your “deserted island” album?
Tough question lol. Not sure if I can pick only one.

What is your favorite venue or event that you’ve performed?
So far I think it is Iridium Club in NYC. Always has been my favorite place to watch bands. Lots of history and constantly many of my favorite bands are playing at this club. In 2019, I got to play 4 shows in row with Billy Sheehan’s own band TALAS, and also we had special guest on guitar, Ron Thal Bumblefoot.

What’s the craziest thing that ever happened to you on-stage?
The craziest thing? Hmmm, I guess to me it was just crazy unreal to share stage with Billy Sheehan and Bumblefoot during the 2019 Talas tour we did. And to have lots of big names in the audience as well!

What’s the best piece of musical advice you’ve received in your career thus far?
Practice, listen to a variety of genres of music, do your home work great. No matter who you work with, be nice to all and it’s very important be yourself! All the hard work one day is gonna pay off!

What is your favorite part of coaching at ROC Star Academy?
I love working with kids and sharing with them all my musical experiences I’ve gotten through out the years. I enjoy seeing them so thrilled and dedicated to the guitar as an instrument. They are the new, upcoming generation of guitar players as well as musicians, who will continue the guitar/music legacy. I’m speaking as a guitar coach.
