Kodak Hall at Eastman Theater. I play there every April as a member of Prime Time Funk: the Official House Band for the Rochester Music Hall of Fame. Other Favorites: Opening for the Kinks (at the Rochester Blue Cross Arena) and playing for 26,000 people at concert at Ontario Beach (both with Backseat Sally).

What’s the craziest thing that ever happened to you on-stage?
At an outdoor beach venue, someone in the crowd thought it would be a good idea to throw a ketchup bottle at the band. The bottle missed the lead singer (fortunately for him) and hit the drum kit! It was a mess! Can I get fries with that?

What’s the best piece of musical advice you’ve received in your career thus far?
Listen to all styles of music. Be open minded. Serve the music, not your ego.

What is your favorite part of coaching at ROC Star Academy?
Seeing the amazing growth (both in musical ability, confidence & self-esteem) that takes place in 5 days at the summer camp.
